Part one of a dump of Hot Wheels collected over about the past month. This one is all from the Kmart Collector's day, minus one that's a trade.

'69 Chevy C/10, came in today on a trade from Frosted_Volvo. He posted a dump of some of his, so I introduced him to the exchange. I'm hoping he got the Chevelle I sent him.

All of the following are from the Collector's day. Some of them I gave to my little brother.

This was the first collector's event I went to. I am by no means a serious collector, I just knew it would be a good place to get a good haul.There was no limit on the cars, but everything went smoothly. We all got our own box and dug through them, and when we were done laid the extras out on the table to pick through. I definitely plan on going to more in the future.

I don't know of a k-mart within 50 miles but that sounds awesome. So they just pass out boxes of cars and say GO?

I've had this one since the second grade. It is one of, if not my favorite Hot Wheels I've owned. I brought it to school and made a track out of the sand box and drifted it around.

I don't know that every Kmart does it the same. The way mine did it, they brought out a bunch of unopened new hot wheels stock, which had smaller boxes in them. Each smaller box had around 25? cars. It was first come first serve, but there were more than enough small boxes for us. We all just picked through and got what we wanted. They have them a few times a year I think. I first learned about it from someone here and from my mom, who worked at Kmart for years before getting a different job.

I have the Fox and S197 Mustangs in the hot wheels green livery..

I want to get the others, as I can find them, like the 67-68 notchback you show, and another you showed in your part 2 thread.

But I hope there is a green 65 fastback, rather than that powder blue one..

There's a green '69 but no 65. Just the blue one for that model so far. At least for new ones, I don't know about old ones.

Bravo for opening the super treasure hunt. I never understood people who leave the cars in the package and then stick them in a box somewhere. To each their own I guess...

Nice Haul of Hot Wheels! Got a bunch of the same ones at Kmart last weekend too. It was the first time I went to one of those. Next time I'll get there earlier.

That's the Super Treasure Hunt. There's a standard version (and other versions of the Gasser) but you might be hard pressed to find the Super version.

The notch is a 67, and there is a fastback also, I have seen pictures of the 69 fastback, and also the 71-73 sports roof. I imagine there might be a 94-04 era car, too... all in that green+graphic theme...

I guess that one ^ is stock-graphics, rather than hot wheels custom graphics.

Although there is this one... not quite the same theme, either...

This hot wheels showroom line 65 Mustang looks like the odd-man-out in pale blue, compared to green.

Most of them are part of the "Showroom" line, and it is probably Hot Wheels running up to the commemoration, unofficially, the 50th anniversary of the Mustang, and the introduction of the new 2015 car.

I guess they like green, and decided to go with the theme.

There are lots of other Hot Wheels Mustangs, though, too.

I know. The whole "I have to have it" thing. Especially with Hot Wheels. It's why I've gotten addicted to trading, I haven't even bought one for myself in a while.
